Once you have created Blogspot account, there are few things that you must need to make some configuration under the Dashboard, like this only corresponding to “standard blog requirements”.

First, go to “layout” tab under Dashboard, make sure you have at least include Blog Archives, and Labels.

Second, go to “Setting” tab, under “Basic” subtab, add your description; under “Formatting”, change your time zone; under “Comments”, make sure that “Everyone” can comment your blog.

Of course you can still play around with other setting and configuration, but please make sure that you have done all of the above.
